Caught red handed | How youtubers cut dovetails

In this video, I’ll guide you through the essentials of building a media cabinet out of hardwood. In part 1 of this series, I go over how to make the cabinet carcass from walnut hardwood and drawer boxes from white oak hardwood. I used dovetail joinery for the drawer boxes to add some character to them when they pop open. Follow along with the series to see how the whole media console comes together with some not-so-usual techniques, and stay tuned for the next video.

Testing! Every time. I’m too new and inexperienced to try to nail a cut first try. I always measure twice cut once, measure again, cut again and repeat until it ends up too small 😂😂
