I just got the Retrax One installed on my truck (dealer install before delivery per my request) after much research on retractable tonneau covers, and I'm 100% satisfied! This cover is awesome, so easy to use, no stupid strap to fish out when it gets away from you, and unlike the Roll-N-Lock, you can lock this one in ANY position, and the keyed lock is great too, added to my locking tailgate it creates a totally secure space. I highly recommend this product!

*This my 3rd retrax cover. **do7.pl/RetraxCover** It's pretty easy to install, but it requires 2 people. The cover is a solid piece, and very sturdy. The main issue I've had with all 3 is that the rear of the cover (the tailgate end) has a very thin, single flap of rubber that is supposed to keep the water out, but it doesn't. If Retrax has engineers on staff that could design and fabricate these great covers that sell for more than $1300, then they should be able to figure out a better waterproofing system. Also, they have plastic adjustment screws that strip out easily with the included Allen wrench. I'm not sure I'd buy another Retrax unless they change these 2 things, there are too many other options out there now.*

Do these covers hook onto the tailgate or can can you open and close the tailgate without messing with the cover?

Can the key hole be punched in to where it could drop & be opened by thieves?

Do you recommend this product? If I jumped on it, can I break in that way? I weigh 185lbs, what you think? Also, what connects the slats? Is it rubber that holds the slats together? Can someone just use a razorblade to cut the slats past the lock then push it open? What you think? Don't wanna spend over a grand on something that can be broken into easily 🤔
