Kinda funny that there was no defense being played in McClane Stafium that day, but in the Peach Bowl a few months later, the same TCU defense performed a public castration of Ole Miss, beating them 41-3

Craig nailed it about the CFP sets the rankings based on the remaining schedule for certain teams so they can vouch for them at the end.

When an undefeated TCU & a one-loss PAC-12 Champion get left out of the National Championship playoffs, I hope that the Rose Bowl decides to match the two for a REAL national champions who aren't media favorites or blue-bloods.

Those Baylor teams did not play defense...that's the difference between them and Tennessee. It's not hypocrisy.

12-0 UCF would have been a candidate, but no historical credit. Then 25-0 UCF would have been a candidate too. The game has been rigged and will remain that way. If it wasn’t it would go back to BCS for expanded playoffs
