Density

This video is designed to help elementary school students begin to develop an understanding of the particle nature of matter and how that relates to density. This is then used to help understand how density is related to materials sinking and floating in water, and students are given a chance to apply their understanding to predict which materials will sink or float. A quick summary of which basic materials sink or float is given at the end of the video.
