The lore (I think):

For the most part, it follows a dude named Rob. The story starts off in the past, while Rob was in a mental health facility due to some accident on a plane trip. Then, we shift to the present where Rob wakes up alone, and notices unnatural things happening in his house. That's when he gets knocked out and placed in a mine. I'm not entirely sure, but it was most likely due to the green alien. We then follow Rob as he progresses through the mine and finds Epicorp's facility. There, he helps Tom, the project leader. Rob and Tom begin to plan out how they were going to kill the alien, using dynamite. Rob sets out to complete the tasks assigned to him by Tom, encountering the green alien a few times. However, when everything is ready, Tom betrays Rob and Rob is left escaping through the mines while the green alien chases them down. It is then revealed that the Earth had been taken over by this alien species. The green alien catches up to Rob, but right as the alien is about the capture him, Rob sets off an explosive using the gun he had in stock. Rob then meets up with Tom, and gets back for his betrayal by killing Tom.

Oh yea there is also a secret group of humans that plan to reconquer the Earth

So basically man with mental health problems gets toyed with by alien, betrayed by scientist, but gets his getback.

This is one of the most interesting and confusing stories I've ever seen. In my opinion, there are two lines of interpretation for what happens here: The scenes in the psychiatric institution take place before the main story or after the main story. If it was before, then there is still a gap as to why the protagonist was taken to Epicorp of all people and why, but it would have a more cohesive story since many people (including Polinski, implying) knew that the protagonist had mental problems and knew how to take advantage of this to deceive him more easily. If it was after, the scenes in the psychiatric institution as well as the doctor's questions would have a much deeper character, since the military may have put Rob there to extract important information from what he witnessed.

As for the story itself, there are clearly several hooks for a possible sequel, such as the alien invasion or the participation of military personnel linked to Epicorp. It was also widely suggested that Rob has military training at some level, given his physical prowess and good ability to handle weapons. But honestly, I don't understand how an alien race that is supposedly dominating the Earth has a weakness to water. WATER. Something that covers more than half of the entire planet Earth.

Otherwise, the story, even though confusing, was fun to follow and the gameplay was simple but effective. However, the cameras urgently need to be improved. The sudden change in camera positioning after each cutscene is unbearable, especially when the camera is vertical and it is impossible to see what is ahead. It is really annoying.

Otherwise, I await the sequel, I really want to know what all this will lead to.

I played the game before this, and holy shit. It's the first roblox story game to actually have me on the edge of my seat. Especially when Robert shot Tom, causing him to fall down the hole. And then when he had the 'flashback' to him and Elise in the cafe. Before falling asleep and the screen fading into the credits. It was a real rollercoaster of emotions.
