I love snakes. I think they are absolutely beautiful. Their colors are fascinating too. I did find a blueish iridescent snake in my grass in my backyard. I live in Florida. It was about 4 feet and a bit thick. I have no idea if it was venomous or not but it was eating a huge frog. I hurried and picked the snake up by its head and the frog fell out and hopped away and I played with that snake for over an hour. I made sure to hold it right under its head and it was slithering all over my arms and chest and neck and in the sun the colors were unbelievable. I wanted to keep it but my husband is petrified of snakes 🐍 so after I had my fun with the snake, I walked with him in my arms to the pond and put him down and he slithered in the water. I figured there were plenty of frogs there and fish it could eat. I never saw it again. That was my wonderful experience with that beautifully colored snake. I catch black racers all the time too. I am not afraid to n handlevthem. I will not go near rattlesnakes or water moccasins obviously. I never found out the kind of iridescent snake that was. Great video of those snakes.
