Caitlin Clark and Teammate Lexie Hull Join Jordan Davis Onstage During Indianapolis Concert
Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull took a brief break from basketball to enjoy some time on stage with country music star Jordan Davis during his concert at the Everwise Amphitheater in Indianapolis on the night of July 31. The event turned into a memorable moment as the two guards joined Davis for a live rendition of his popular song "Buy Dirt."

Clark, the standout rookie phenom, wore a casual black tank top, cut-off shorts, and a ball cap, while Hull, now in her second year with the Fever, opted for a stylish dress and boots. Their surprise appearance delighted the crowd, adding an extra layer of excitement to the concert. They sang along with Davis, waving to friends offstage, and embraced the musician as the audience enthusiastically joined in.

This lively performance came during Clark's break from the WNBA and the 2024 Paris Olympics. Despite being passed over for the U.S. women's Olympic basketball team, the 22-year-old is making the most of her downtime. Clark has been an avid viewer of the Olympics, supporting her fellow WNBA players and keeping up with the action from Paris.

During a conversation with reporters on July 30, Clark shared that she has been watching "a good amount" of the Olympic events, mentioning her excitement about watching the USA women's and men's basketball teams. She joked that the time difference between Paris and the U.S. makes it perfect for watching games during practice, even suggesting to her coach, Christie Sides, that practice be canceled to allow for more Olympic viewing.

The U.S. women's basketball team, meanwhile, has been competing in Paris, having already played their first game against Japan on July 29, which they won decisively with a score of 102-76. They are set to face Belgium in their second matchup on August 1.

In the lead-up to the Olympics, Clark, along with fellow star Angel Reese and other WNBA All-Stars, competed against the U.S. Women’s National Team. This game, held on July 20, was only the second of its kind, following a similar event in 2021 before the Tokyo Olympics. The All-Star team triumphed over Team USA with a score of 117-109, showcasing the depth of talent within the WNBA.

Despite the disappointment of not being selected for the Olympic team, Clark remains positive, taking the opportunity to engage with fans and enjoy some personal time. Her recent stage appearance with Lexie Hull and Jordan Davis is just one example of how she's making the most of her summer, blending her love for basketball with other interests.
