A few years ago around Christmas an animal shelter around here was offering a deal where you can adopt a pet for a reduced fee if you sang a Christmas jingle. My partner at the time and I found the most beautiful cat we've ever seen, we were instantly in love. I sang All I Want For Christmas Is You to her, almost making one of the workers cry when I did. We adopted her and named her Holly for the season. We had her for a year and a few months, but tragically she passed away in march of that year. I was absolutely heartbroken and am even still feeling it to this day. Despite making me think about her, there was something very comforting in your song that made me happy to think of her. Thank you.
