This song is legendary for my generation. Dave can really sing with his unique voice and high falsetto; Dave really captures the essence and intensity this song demands as the backdrop of the story of Rocky Balboa. I make no distinction between Jami Jameson and Dave Bickler because I find they both played an equal part as Survivor's frontmen. I have no idea how they felt about each other, like Dave and Sammy, but Survivor managed to keep the magic going well into the 90s. I was fortunate to have seen them back in the mid-1980s with Jimi. I still remember that concert as one of over a 100 I saw throughout the 80s, 90, s and early 2000s.
