Sony A6400 Mirrorless Camera Review. Prepare to be excited!
This review looks at the new firmware features and the incredibly Real-Time Eye AF and Real-Time Object Tracking AI infused AF features that will most likely be introduced with every new Alpha camera from this day forward. These features will also be added to the A9 camera in March 2019. Real-Time or 'Evolved' Eye AF and Interval Shooting will also be included in Firmware updates for the A7III and A7RIIl cameras via a firmware upgrade in April 2019.

TYPO: Minute 20:52 - this should read the FE 85mm F/1.8 and not a 135

Mark is absolutely the best, hands down, when it comes to knowledge about the Sony cameras.

"...or one or two of them fell asleep in the PowerPoint that Sony showed them before they went out to shoot"
LOL. I was thinking the same thing Mark. Pretty sad how much content gets rushed out there on YouTube. I appreciate how you take the time to be accurate and produce content that is well thought out. To me reviewers loose credibility when they give inaccurate information in reviews. Whether it's because they are rushing out content, cant follow instructions, arent experts on the system they are reviewing, or that's just the best they can do (bless their heart); NONE of those are traits you want to see in a camera review. Keep up the great work Mark, have a great day!!

Just got my a6400 (from a6000... A7+ although full frame is too much of a hassle for me to dive into, maybe later on)... this by far is one of the most comprehensive video there is about Sony A6400 around. Thanks so much! Amazing video! I learned so much more than reading the online manual. Thank you very much!

Mark that was a great and informative video, thank you very much. And this also shows the difference between someone with in depth knowledge about a system taking his time for the review, and someone without that knowledge and on top of that rushing out a review just for the sake of being first.

The photo at the start of the video inspired me to watch the rest of the video.

Congrats for your sample gallery. The images are blessed with incredible clarity, sharpness and colours. I could easily mistake these images for full frame images if I wasn't previously alerted. I'm impressed!

I have to say I am SO IMPRESSED by the depth/quality of your alpha videos (I've only watched a few so far) That I felt compelled to go make a donation. (I've only donated to 1 YouTube reviewer before) I was on the fence for an upgrade to my A6000, between the A6400 or A6500 but you have convinced me that for me the new A6400 is the way to go. THANKS!! I look forward to viewing the rest of your can't for the life of me understand why you only have 55k subscriptions.

Bloody hell that was brilliant! Thanks for such detailed information. Looking forward to losing a couple weeks of my life going through your content (just lost a day at work going through several hour-long videos like this one today actually LOL)

I was starting to get discouraged by all of the negative reviews online about this camera. This video really helped and was extremely informative! Thank you!

Thank you for clarifying points that other reviewers either were negligent on or unaware.

Too few views for such a comprehensive and in-depth review like urs. Thanks for contributing to my decision on picking this as an alternative for my a6300. Thank u so much Mr. Galer!

Thank you very much for this wonderful video. For the last month I am confused between Sony A6400 Vs Canon M6 Mark ii. I am so confused, seen 100s of reviews and finally after this video and the e-book I am convinced to go for Sony A6400. Once again thank you very much.

Great Review Mark, as always. thanks! On a different note, I have an idea for a new Video that I think could be very handy to many of your viewers. Basically a Video about a new settings Profile and how to use it, for Travel Photography. A really versatile Profile that can be used for many different things like buildings, people etc. Basically a swiss Army Knife that produces reliable results in many different scenarios, a profile that can be used for the most used everyday zoom lenses. I feel like something like this is missing currently. we do have different profiles for different lenses and different scenarios etc. but especially for non-pro photographers, something like this will be very useful, as most of them, including me, do not have all the required lenses for the other profiles yet. Most beginners just have one lens in the beginning, like the 28-70 or a slightly more expensove model. I hope you will consider making such a video at some point. cheers!

This was an a6400 Master Class. Regarding complaints from the "glass is half full" crowd on the flippy screen, for under $10 an adapter bracket moved my wireless mic to the side (and like you, gave me a headphone jack and volume control). I use my a6400 mostly for live streaming and YT content creation on a tripod, so in body stabilization is not that big deal for me and is far out-weighed by the value of a clean HDMI output, no video time limit, over-heating no longer an issue, a top notch AF and a great processor and sensor.
Thank you for providing so much info! Sub'd and liked.
