This is a fellow youtuber request. it is an update to another one I made that shows how to bring an image to a flat face. However, this time, it is a cylinder.

Some people pick it up on their own. But it is recommended that you take at least 2 weeks of fundamentals and intermediate training. CATIA is a little harder to learn on your own, so I recommend a starter course to get you in the right direction.

I believe you have to have the image done in a Program like photoshop to remove the background and make it transparent. I have yet to try an image without a

@m1turbo what file format do i need to export from photoshop to get rid of the background? im working with die cut logo, evrytime i import it in inventor it always have a white background, Thank you.. Nice tutorial.

Yes. It appears to be a problem that happens when I am working with imported data in an assembly file. If I choose to create a part and then make a sketch I can use the image feature. But then I can no longer use the decal feature. So I'm still kind of stuck on this. Thanks for your response, by the way.

I can't click on the image button; it is greyed out. Any idea why this might happen? I can select Points or ACAD in the insert menu.
