Me and my family went on the train there and took a bus tour. It was very long, almost 9 hours, but it was so worth it. We saw grizzlies, antelope, moose, and so much more. Once we got to this big group of cabins we panned for gold and took a flight back in a small Cessna over the glaciers and everything. We were in Alaska for a week and a half and went on a boat tour where we saw orcas and many whales. Such a great place.

Great video. You have talked about just the right points that anyone should know before coming to Denali. Succinct and informative. Thanks for sharing.

Love how you elaborate things to do while in Denali. Just came back from Alaska in a 10 day trip and definitely will go back again in May to explore more and more things. Alaska is a paradise on Earth.

Very well done. Good information. All who plan to visit the park should see this video. I was there May 2019, and everything he said was true.

Good Tips! ! Plan ahead. Dress in layers, bring a jacket. Mosquitoes ( No joke, we called them Moose-quitoes when I lived in Alaska). The shuttle bus stops at bathrooms which are maintained nicely.

At about the 6:00 mark, the little squirrel was an arctic ground squirrel, and the brown and white bird was a ptarmigan (TAR-mih-gun), which change from brown in the summer to pure white in the winter.
You kind of explained it, but for those who didn't catch it, the dogs in winter look like the dogs in the Iditarod, in that they pull dogsleds.
In Alaska, the mosquito is (only half) jokingly called the Alaska State Bird.
Another point related to the National Park people--due to the difficulty and expense getting there, you won't find people whose sole goal is to come, take an iconic picture and leave. The average stay at our national parks is a measly few hours.
I have to echo the others below--beautifully done video. Thanks.

I'm an avid globetrotter and the trip I made with my family, first visiting Iceland and then Alaska, was the best this far.
We rode on the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage up to Denali.
That trip is the best ride I have made!
Don't miss out on that.

We took the guide bus tour into Denali and had the best guide/driver you can ask for.
This is a very fond memory.

Yeah, and don't miss out on visiting Prospectors Pizzeria and Alehouse!

Great video with very useful tips.
Four years ago, I visited Denali NP end of May and I didn't know all these things, but now! 😊 (It was the very first time, I was in the USA.)
I lost my heart in this paradise on earth, in Alaska and I dream every day from returning and to spend my twilight time there.
Greetings from Germany,
Attila

Info you need to know. At Denali we title the three types of buses as such: #1. TOUR BUSES = narrated bus trip into the park. #2. TRANSIT BUSES = non-narrorated bus trip into the park. #3. SHUTTLE BUSES = Free frontcountry shuttle only 15 miles. Savage river shuttle is free bus to transport you within the first 15 miles of the park, Ryley Creek shuttle is the first 5 miles within the park. These are frontcountry free shuttles. The TOUR BUS & TRANSIT BUS TAKES YOU INTO THE PARK, EACH HAVING ITS OWN COST. So you know thur difference, as it does confuse guests here in Denali. It's the transit bus that you can hop off to explore within the park from mile post 16 - 92. Thank you

This video is amazing, I learned a great deal, thank you for making it. The only non-positive thing is the music, it so distracting, takes away from the stunning picture and it is louder than the voice, but inspite of that I loved the content!
