Greetings. Great video. Question though: at 25:24 into the video you call a getConnection method on Oracle308tubeConn class that doesn't actually exist... how is that wired up? That class isn't extending anything so what defines the getConnection method?

Great playlist. I had some (maybe a little bit more) challenges getting my database connection working. Using MySQL the secret for me was adding a line before Connection "myConn = DriverManager...". Another thing was to install the database driver in the same directory with the Jersey files.

I wish there was a tutorial like this in jersey and mongodb.
which would cover real world problems like how to initialize mongodb in separate class, and being used in other classes, entityactions and etc...

system is the Database user name people, if this is your first time downloading and installing and then trying to complete the tutorial. Otherwise you are going to be getting ORA-0107 all day or in my case, all night long.
