The poor girl had braces on her teeth and was very self concious about them. But the group, and especially Johnny, singing brought out a smile regardless of them. I'm sure she grew up to be a beautiful woman with great memories of this moment.

I'm a grown man (straight) and this video brought tears to my sweet and touching. I was lucky enough to see Sha Na Na over 20 times since 1971, and they always will be the greatest in my book. Truly professionals and they ALWAYS gave their all. They brought such joy into my life, and obviously many others,

I had the opportunity to work security at a Sha na na concert during a local music festival. I was assigned to be just outside the dressing room where they kept their many costumes. I got to watch the entire concert from just off stage. When one of the members was not performing he would stand off stage and visit with me while waiting to go on. Greatest concert I've been fortunate to see.

I found that I am a cousin to the writer of this song, Jimmy Duncan wrote this song in 1957, I am related through my great-great grandparents Joseph and Carrie Duncan. I re-watch this video because it is good!!
