It seems like your favourite Disney princess is either someone that is like you or someone you will become. Many of my friends that has Belle as their favourite are calm bookworms.

As a kid my favourite princesses were Tiana and Mulan. I always thought I was lazy, but looking at it now, I see that I either have always been or have become like them. During the summer I work three jobs, otherwise I study 300%. I feel like Tiana when she comes home late only to get ready for the next job. There was a time in my life I studied 250% while working two part time jobs and sitting in the board of directors for my student union. I have also had "boyish" interests and as a kid I wanted to be one of the boys, a bit like Mulan. I feel like I have the same sass and determination as Tiana and Mulan. I'm just chocked how far I reached because I always saw myself as lazy and thought that I would never be able to do the work others do. I always thought Tiana was extreme and that I would in no way be able to achive that much. Looking at it now, I realize that I've been too hard on myself.
