The video I needed just before I had a Coach and a Ralp Lauren bag in my cart !! Phew it was close

You’re right, of course. I bought a bag thinking it would make me ‘happy’ and that I deserve it working so hard all my life. It did, for a while, until it became irrelevant😭

People's illusion have been crushed because there is a big possibility that their 38k luxury bag turns out to be Made in China and not in France.

Explains the same thing korean bands kpop like blackpink sing in their songs about manipulating people

Back then they were just workshops that were making good quality items and the prices were higher but not as crazy exaggerated as today

No, it won't collapse according to HERMES 2024 It has spent a expenditure about 1 billion euro while captured a revenue of 15 billion. Even if the revenue drops the game is still profiting

You have brands like Ferragamo that have not done well in sales lately because they don’t have marketing power I think, but put out beautiful quality merchandise at sale prices too from time to time.

Totally agreed with you.
Sometimes I saw super branded bag sold. Non leather bagaterial but with really expensive price. It's crazy.

I really like you and the way you think. Good old fashioned common sense. 😊

I buy only one or two luxury items a year. This year I just purchased the new LV key pouch. Yes it is LV monogram but only I see it in my bag and I like it. I’ve been wanting a certain cosmetic case so that may be my second for the year. Last year I bought an LV Speedy DE and a small PM agenda. I use both daily.

Nope. Luxury is luxury and what Leatherstine was talking about were fake products and real products that failed quality control standards. I have very good luxury products with no quality issues. Why? I don't buy items returned by other people!

The amassing of money is only about power, now what one wants to do with that power is solely dependent on each person. There is all kinds out here, and the one thing I know is the more power you have is the more evil you are exposed to even if you don't partake yourself, because everybody's got their hands or claws out. It's an ecosystem of the rich and the lesser and lesser. That man is only 1-3 degrees separated from all sorts of immoral and illegal sh*t and he got way too much to lose to be concerned about living upright in his part of the ecosystem. That amount of power is a lot of work and a lot of "maneuvering".

It's me. I am the evil in fashion. I scrounge estate sales and charity shops, and I have the world's cheapest luxe bag collection. (I also have the funniest collection of bad fakes, lol.)
My $10.00 LVs and my $6.99 Chanel tote are going to sit right next to the $1.00 Hermes I'm building.

"Fashion" is entirely unnecessary for normal life. If you go broke over fashion, its your own fault. There is no population control in overpriced handbags

This is part of why I love the vintage Coach bags that were made in the US and the earlier ones made in NYC. These are true luxury items. The classic bags were made by very talented people using the finest materials. I have bags that are 30-45 years old that are simply beautiful. I’d take one of these over any of the so called luxury bags any day.

I have a few items that were purchased for their specific design and craftsmanship, but I have also purchased luxury similar products from more reasonable priced companies. Those items give the same aesthetic without the bloated price.

I work in finance and am very familiar with the lengths individuals will go to in order to build the illusion of wealth. They use bankruptcy protection on a regular basis, retaining no assets to walk away in uncomfortable, overpriced shoes. No handbag or watch should ever take precedent over a mortgage payment.

I love nice leather goods but I like lesser known labels for my high end and I just use Brahmins as my daily drivers.

I refuse to buy the “luxury” brands that everyone seems to covet.
