Great ideas! We always make coffee at home. I would like to try making nut butter at home, but I only have an ordinary blender, not a high-powered one, so I'm not sure it would work.

The cash system for food shopping really works!

So funny about cash, I am the opposite! I still feel, as a grown up woman, that the cards purchases will be checked by my parents and am soooo much more careful when I use a card. Completely
See your point of course, it was just funny to me the difference!

I would love to find out how to make coffee and chicory at home!
Do you or anyone here know if Sam’s Wholesale Club is similar in pricing/products to, Costco?
I have a Sam’s closer is why I ask. 😊

Love the cash thing. I agree! Also I get things at Costco. I was wasting a lot of produce so now I take an evening and prep it all. Then it’s at my fingertips to grab and eat or cook. It’s sooo much easier to make stir fry or salad when the produce is already washed. With veggies ready to eat, it’s easier to make better choices even for snacking. I bought a book called Fridge Love to learn how to store food so that it will last as long as possible.

Agree with everything except the use cash part…..I got an American Express card that gives me 6% cash back on grocery store purchases👍🏻This really adds up yearly

Amazing video! ♥️
I feel I’m terrible at budgeting Michelle, it’s my downfall. We are a family of 4 and live in London and I spend around £200/£230 a week, more really, as we have a monthly subscription for our toiletries and loo roll etc so that’s tjust on groceries!
I’m not sure how much that is in dollars but I do feel I overspend?
I would like to ask my friends how much they spend but I don’t think I want to hear what they have to say 🤦‍♀️
We also grow lots of our own veg in our garden (mainly in the summer) plus I spend around £3.20 x 3 a week in Costa on coffee. Would you say we over spend as a family?
I would be interested in your opinion s you seem very organised on this x
