Straits of Devastation. Nothing more relaxing than fishing between hordes of undead ships.
Tangled Depths! Be it near Rata Novus, or deep under the jungle, nothing stops us from getting our fishing poles out. Just use some pocket raptors as bait.
Southsun Cove! Re-anger the Karka by taking away their food supply by overfishing!
Bitterfrost Frontier! Take out your beach towel, put on those sunglasses! Freeze to death while you catch some fish and eternal zzzz's.

I hope this will top the mounts in terms of quality of implementation. No mmo comes close the gw2's mounts and this new feature has me giddy thinking what happens if they put in the same effort.

The skiffs look like they're hovering on top of the water instead of being actually in it. Anet, please move them a bit lower so the water line actually makes sense.

I hope we also can gather treasures with fishing and can go for fetch hunts. Also pulling out big monsters from the deep at certain fishing spots could be really cool.

Time to level Cooking to 500. You all know there's going to be account bound ultra rare fish required for some amazing Food buffs coming or perhaps required to unlock unique skiffs that do interesting things.

"No fish will be safe from you..." que sudden attack from Krait or Risen or barracuda etc... in some maps. Then que a little purge of enemies so you can fish in peace... Until respawn...XD

The skiffs are too high in the water. Their hulls are barely submerged.

With how high the platform for players to stand on is, there's lots of room for the skiff to be lowered to make the skiff look more plausible, without clipping players' feet into the water.

I think the skiffs need do be deeper in the water. They look like they could fall over any time.

I hope they rotate where the "good" fish pools spawn. Everyone clustering in the same high end zones because that's where the top level pools are would be lame, let us scour Tyria to find new spots every day.
