The iPad mini is what I’ve been waiting for.

If they put an OLED screen or maybe even mini LED, I would buy this mini iPad on a heartbeat!

The form factor of the mini makes more sense to keep in an A-series chip. Unlike the larger size iPads its use case is less likely going to demand the same muscle. We need to start asking “what more do we really need” from the products.
As it stands the larger iPads are already reaching the point where performance increases are unnecessary..

Simplify the lineups. iPad/iPad Pro 9/11/13". MacBook/MacBook Pro 14/16". iPhone/iPhone Pro 6/8". Pick the power. Pick the size. Pro models across the board start with double the storage/ram and a higher tiered chip.

I hope they keep the selfie/FaceTime camera exactly where it is. We don’t use the iPad mini in landscape mode with a keyboard. It’s a device that’s held in the hand like your cell phone so I need to keep the camera exactly where it is.

I have the iPad mini 6, which is terrific for content consumption at my bedside, etc. I have a Mac 27" desktop for my main computer. I'm assuming iPad OS 18 and Math Notes will be available for my iPad mini 6. So, what Apple Intelligence features will be available on the iPad mini 7, that will NOT be on my iPad mini 6?
