This is how these Asian Giant Hornet attack beetles in the wild, the tip of these beetles' legs are the only soft spot where hornets can cut off, and these are crucial for the beetles because they can't hang on to trees without these claws. After this attack, you can see that the beetle stopped fighting back and continued to try to escape.
