I just don't get why people are comparing the OnePlus 7 Pro to a Google pixel 3a. They are 2 different tiers of phone. The pixel 3a is a budget friendly phone for the average person, the 7 Pro is a flagship at a reduced price (not a low one). That's like comparing a Galaxy s10+ to a pixel 3a.

Comparing these two phones makes no sense. One is a “pro” and the other is meant to be a budget phone. The pixel 3 xl would make more sense to compare, especially with the recent cuts in price.

OnePlus 7 Pro here 256/12gb. Best phone I have ever purchased. Had a Pixel 2 previously, 4gb ram and those terrible stock android settings/inconsistency with dark mode got the best of me. I highly recommend picking up the phone. Cheers

I have the op7 pro from T-Mobile and I am loving it, 20 bucks a month. Loving it even more that I converted to international firmware, updates straight from op.

I think people are getting hung up about the price of the OnePlus 7 pro. Firstly let's remember that this is a flagship ship phone. It's arguably not only the best Android phone, but the best phone all together right now. Ok, anyway. Let's not forget it's still 100s cheaper than Samsung, Huawei and apples latest offerings. So in reality you're still getting a flagship phone for cheaper. Not only that's, like I said it's arguably the best phone right now. So really there's nothing to whine about? And on another note, one which everyone seems to be forgetting. The OnePlus 7 pro is a completely new tier for OnePlus! Let's not forget they still offer the standard one plus 7 which is cheaper yet again and follows more in the footsteps of the traditional like of OnePlus phones. People quite conveniently forget that! Let's let's get this factually correct so there's no confusion. The OnePlus 7 pro doesn't follow in the line of cheaper flagship killer as it's a flagship in its own rights. It has higher specced screen, more premium build etc etc. This all costs more to build! It's only natural that the phone will cost more! That's just common sense. The standard OnePlus 7 is the flagship killer model that's cheaper again. This is the model people should be focusing on when they want to whine about cost! It annoys me people going on and on.about the price increase with the pro! OnePlus has made a phone that covers most of the missing elements from its standard models in the past. Ie, qhd screen and stereo speakers to name but a few . And yet people still fuss about price increase. It seems to me they want OnePlus to make the device at a loss?

Not sure about comparisons, but I picked the one plus 7 pro over the Note 9 and I liked the note 9.
One plus 7 pro, love it and oxygen OS is great.

Comparing 2 phones with no downloaded apps is stupid. Load them up with app, wait a few months and you'll see the difference in price. The OnePlus with the top of the line processor and more RAM will be running way smoother.

Brand loyalty and marketing plays large roles in the deciding factor when anyone considers buying anything. I typically buy a new iPhone every 3 or 4 years (give or take) and right now I'm using the iPhone 7 Plus. I think I might upgrade this year as the phone is starting to feel outdated. Anyway, if I were to get an Android based phone, I would probably go for a Samsung Galaxy Note model since those typically are not prone to any issues (besides the Note 7 battery thing) and have the best specs, great battery life, great display, the S-Pen, etc.
