New Acoustic Guitar Demo at Eddie's Guitars in St. Louis, MO.
It's easy to fall in love with the voice of a good Martin... When she's got a face and body like this one it's impossible not to fall in love with the whole package. A fresh, blinged out, short scale brother to the well known OM-42, this historic model has been played by practically every acoustic great that's worth mentioning.

I don’t know if it sounds as good as the original 1939 000-42, but to me, it’s the best sounding guitar in the world.

sweet sound, I wonder Eddie if you could look at less expensive guitar like lets say the Canadian made Seagull S 6 original slim

Really, really great video. I love how you explain everything and I love how high quality you recorded the video. Not that 420p crap. 😉 thank you!

finally got one (new) in 2017.
My opinion: it is "the best" guitar I have ever owned for the money ❣❣
I've owned over 60 acoustics all of them American makers....avg $1k-6k new & used, some of them worth more than the OOO-42, but all are no better in play tone esthetics and craftsmanship.
no wonder eric clapton has his signature series based on the OOO-42/28

If you would have to choose between the Martin OM-42 vs the 000-42, which one you would choose? The only difference that I can see is the scale length and the neck shape! Thank you very much and regards

A heirloom quality guitar that I will be purchasing when I turn 17 and that I will pass down to my children.

Is the a preferred manner in which to treat the wood, on high end type very wood worthy instruments.    I ask, in the thought of looking at this guitars back and it appears to have been left to dry out for an extended time.    Of course not really knowing the age of this instrument,    I feel it s tone is nice and even and just the right amount of bass over treble tones to make it a guitar I would enjoy to own for a life time.    I will look for one of these guitars for my lifetime instrument heritage of Martin demands for tradition and longevity.    Thanks for the demonstrations and the very well played
