Been watching videos of people playing this so I can learn it correctly and I’m realizing that most players have their fingers flat against the board while mine are curled. Otherwise I can’t really reach all the frets correctly with my short fat fingers. Got a lot to learn! (It’s only been 3 weeks since I started) I appreciate the videos!! ❤

Bought a new bass the other day. Been using this video to help me understand the structure of the song. Needless to say it’s helped me immensely! I have a long way to go and my technique isn’t quite there, but practicing every single day!

Can we just talk about how CS has taken tabs, a medium most musicians scoff at (for good reason) and put it between bars with accents and propper marks to actually make it usable. Tabs lose so much of the rhythm and how the song goes beyond the notes, but CS has hammer ons, slide, dead notes, rests. Its truly genius, and now you can reach everyone.
