My girlfriend for as long as she can remember has always wanted a Corgi. We had tried to get a puppy last year through local breeders and it just never worked out. Well I decided to take matters into my own hands and found Hammond living over in Kansas. After seeing the first few photos of him, I knew he was the one. So I kept the whole ordeal a secret for 2 months, and on Friday the 13th, she had a little surprise when she got home!

I keep coming back to this corgi video. I was lucky to get a re-home corgi from a breeder. They were devastated to lose her, but wanted her to go to a good home. Well, I have proven that. I take her back every month depending on whats going on and they love seeing her enjoying her life with us. They have commented on how much confident she is and the change in her personality for the better. If you do get an older corgi rom a breeder, send them updates as they worry how their dogs are - as they are like children to them. Keep that breeder link going over the life of your corgi, as the relationship you build with them will help if you are after another one in the future. Trusted Corgi parents to breeders are like gold. They know they will be cared for and they can share in the life of a corgi they have bred and see how they grow with their new family.
