Actually, when it came to the three girls somebody point this out on Twitter or Instagram I believe.
They said as a kid they never understood why these three girls didn’t like Aladdin. as an adult they still didn’t get it and somebody responded. They pointed out something that I cannot ignore and that I’m gonna strongly agree with. They said it’s a brothel and he’s poor. So of course, when he becomes Prince Ali, they’re falling all over him because he can afford them now.

Another interesting fact about the apple bit is that according to the Greek mythology already mentioned, tossing or throwing an apple at someone was basically a marriage proposal. Catching it was considered a yes.

Actually, the original tale of Aladdin wasn't an arabic tale, but a chinese one. For some reason, it was added to 1001 Arabian Nights by the author, hence starting the confusion of Aladdin being Arabic.

Another thing about the Ron and John cameos in the film is that in each of the films they directed, they have caricatures of themselves. I've seen the ones in Treasure Planet, but I have yet to scout them out in The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, The Princess and the Frog, and Moana.

I seriously doubt that Belle's description of the book she was reading was Aladdin, as when you see the illustration later in the song Belle, it doesn't look like an Arabian story but rather a European fairytale (some say it's Sleeping Beauty but I thought as a kid it was the story of Beauty and the Beast itself hence a foreshadowing).
