Yes I remember Mansa Kanka Musa we learnt in our secondary school days in 80's how rich he was in the Mali empire how he went on a pilgrimage to Mecca on carmels with his numerous entourage and the amount of gold the Mali empire had he built so many mosques and university who will forget the popular city of Timbuktu and Sumonguru if am right was also a prominent and illustrious son of Mali I pray history will come back to Nigeria's schools curriculum
