WORST Tech Deck Performance Series Fingerboard?! - Unofficial Episode 16

In this video I unbox a Tech Deck Performance Series fingerboard and it is THE WORST fingerboard I have ever used! I struggled to land any fingerboarding tricks on this wooden fingerboard. Something was wrong with the trucks on this fingerboard making it really difficult to use. I had fun filming and editing this video even though this board is TERRIBLE!

Not everyones going to like the performance series having it to be being too wide or the wheels suck. But this would be a decent fingerboard if there was that one person who doesnt wanna spend too much money on a wooden fingerboard setup.

The unique tech dech grip wears out in like a week of solid sessions

It’s the wheels. They have the most grip out of all the wheels I’ve tried in fingerboarding. They’re extremely soft with no bearings so it feels off for me as well and I love the grip from urethane wheels on my fingerboards. Try slapping on the basic plastic tech deck wheels on it and see if it helps.

I got one and I'm really enjoying it. I wouldve hated myself if i had spent more than 15$ on a toy skateboard lol i grew up with tech decks.. back when they had actual grip tape not a nail file on it lol

For the foam grip you just have to wear it in a bit. Then it will be much better.

It’s Just they way the trucks come they’re probably loose and you might need to tighten them if you don’t like that and the foam tape that comes with it is not grippy

try erasing the grip on the foam and it might stick better.

for the crooked trucks I would say make pivot cups in. solved the problem for me.

The performance series is infinitey better then the regular tech deck, th con clave is smoth, better trucks, rubber wheels compared to the plastic wheels rough grip that runs out in like a week and intense con cave in the board

Yeah dude I switched the grip tape to actual grip tape and put bearing wheels on it

Bruh, lmao. You have to wear In the board before anything’s gonna work for you. 😂 good content and everything but maybe wear in the board before you pull it out of the box and already start making opinions on it 😂
