my 12yr old nephew loves this channel, and is always in my shop making stuff he sees on here!
I'm glad he wants to learn how to fabricate item's and is learning welding at this age! Eventually he will move up to bigger things, but learning to make useful item's from scrap is teaching him how to think outside of the box.

So it does the same job as a clamp thats been invented for about a hundred years

Instead of buying two pieces of metal and welding them together wouldn’t it have been easier to simply buy stock already sized correctly for your needs?
Also, how much time did it take from start to finish to complete the fabrication?
