When the catfish finally found water it stopped to catch its breath!

Walking catfish. Easier for them to find a new spot. They’ll find the next ditch or pond. When millions of baby frogs do this its pretty crazy.

We had those in our yard and driveway. I’ve been here since 2001 and I’ve never seen it flood like it did yesterday. People need to “walk away” from Florida lol the infrastructure isn’t equipped for all this new construction and the people that come w it. . 😢

Why watch it suffer? Just pick it up and help him? Would you want help if you needed oxygen but had to walk however far to do so without breath? Dont think so

Not a catfish but forgot what it is called. All over fla and no flood needed to see them at times. If i can fid this clip again, i will tell you what he is.
Well, i am back.. he IS a catfish... i was told wrong when i found a parking lot full of them. 20 8nches long, dads protect babies and builds the nest.. illegal to keep, transport or anything without a license. Brought to Fla. In 1968 by humans. Invasive, from Southeast Asia.

I would have helped it back to water I wouldn't make it struggle along
