I'm a Texas tech fan, but I just wanted to say that I don't think there is any team that deserves the success they've been having quite like Kansas. They've scratched and clawed their way into being a respectable football team after being the big 12 doormat for far too long. It makes the conference better.

Great game KU, but terrible for ESPN. The announcers were bad and the highlight video didn't include WVU's first or last TD, both of which were key/highlight plays.

I’ve never seen a team win in overtime by 13 points. I knew it was theoretically possible, but to see Kansas of all teams to do it… Lance Leipold (I think is his name) is doing something with Kansas and I like it.

I did not expect a win for KU as this was a road game for us. I thought the game could be close considering we were competitive in the final 3 games last season. However we did lose and add lot of players thus I was not sure. KU has 3 starter-calibre RB, and I thought it would be fun to use option rushing attack and KU actually runs it. We have been bad for a long time. Thank God Coach Leipold is the right guy for us. So happy we are competitive again.

I’m a Texas Tech graduate and an even bigger fan and I’m so happy for our success but I’ve wanted to see Kansas return to glory like those 2000s teams. Their head coach came from the D3 level where a lot of kids work their butts off with no recognition; kinda like Kansas for such a long time. Beating a West Virginia Team that went head to head with Pitt who just lost to Tennessee in OT. The Kansas football fans have a lot to get excited about this season and the future to come.

Random point. This announcer was just not good at all today. I don’t care if it’s a man or woman behind the mic. This was a thrilling game, and the monotone of her voice ruined it. Joe Buck would have been better.

Kansas has been the doormat of the big 12 for decades. I actually won a little money on Kansas without the spread. Is Kansas becoming competent? A win on WV is huge for that program right now.
