Linear Regression Models using a Graphing calculator

This video gives step-by-step instructions on how you input data in a graphing calculator and then look at the calculator produced scatterplot, find the linear regression model (line of best fit), and use that model to make further predictions.

Thank you, from a grown man struggling with calc1. I just knew there would be a way in my trusty 9860Gii. What a powerful, powerful tool this is. A simply 10 point line takes my calv over 2 seconds to find regression. Must be a lot of math required, which would explain why there is no answer to the question "can this be done on paper".. in sorry to say there are a few things (regression being one) that simply are not feasible by hand. Matrices >3x3 being another.

My pharmacology teacher asked me how to put the unknown x values into my fancy TI-84 after I calculated the regression equation, and I didn't have a clue. Made me feel like a total dumbass. Next time I'll watch your videos first!!
