Take the dog to a vet or local shelter, let the experts make the decision on what to do with the dog. We don't live in the 1800s, animal cruelty is punishable by law. 😢

Her next book should be titled, "How To End Your Political Career In One Paragraph." What's the next thing she's going to cop to? Dumping one of Jerry's Kids out of their wheelchair? What a POS.

First a goat and now her dog, looks like she doesn’t know how to train her dogs properly. Or get her goats neutered since she used that as an excuse to kill the goat .

She should face criminal charges for animal cruelty!

So she killed the puppy because it was allegedly "untrainable" because it hunted and killed a neighbors chickens...because it's a certfified bred hunting dog... then killed a ghost because it smelled? And was rowdy because she herself failed to get it neutered? Which is it? What is actually true about any of her excuses?
Couldn't train her dog, and didn't neuter a goat, ok... but that's on her, animals are going to do what they do. The common failure here is her.

I grew up with several beagles we used for rabbit hunting. One just couldn’t be trained. His only interest in hunting was to chase deer for miles. Would just howl if you tried to get him in a dog house either like the others. So we just let him be a spoiled pet. We didn’t shoot him.

There is no excuse for her conduct and a very demonstrable lack of empathy or ounce of compassion for those animals that is beyond shocking.

The dog could have been better trained, re-homed, or simply kept indoors/in their own fenced area away from livestock.

Disgusting. And you elected her. This goes beyond a farm issue as many of us know.

A real farmer values his dogs and would invest in a long term training program with a professional trainer for a dog. You don't kill a dog that young for what it did. I could understand more of it was 8 or 9 with a history of being aggressive towards humans, but just over a year old, the dog is barely out of the puppy phase. This woman is evil for doing that.

If you can't train em then don't own them. Cold hearted lady.

There are NO BAD ANIMALS, just BAD OWNERS.

Dogs are family. If she’ll do this to her family for not doing as they’re told, what will she do to you?

Our family has had dogs all our lives, we've never had a bad dog. If the dog was trying to bite you.. its YOU

Her other dog died in an “accident” recently.

What a horrible, pathetic, and ugly personal. I’m extremely angry by this. I’ve had dogs all my life and they are part of the family. A 14 month old puppy needs attention, guidance and training. What she did is criminal. She should not have any animal in her care.

All this tells me is that she's willing to make harsh, knee-jerk decisions, partially out of emotion, and without first getting informed advice.
If that is what she wants us to know exemplifies her leadership style, I would never EVER want that person within a heartbeat of being president.

Her career is over politically. She is politically radioactive no one in her right mind would touch her. Anyone that would have her as a running mate is dooming their campaign to failure

My dad was a Rancher and a Hunter who loved his long guns. Her reasons for brutally killing these animals, including her horses, turned my stomach. I loved, admired and supported her but never again. I'll never get past the callous way she described those murders and her reasons why... What happened to the vet coming out administering an injection? I actually don't ever want to hear her name again

I’ll forever have images deeply struck in my mind of Kristy driving to a gravel pit, killing her delinquent pup, then suddenly being inspired to go back and grab her despised uncastrated goat and dragging it back to the pit where she bungles her attempt to shoot it to death yet is clever enough to return to her truck to retrieve another cartridge to get it done. Somewhere along the way the notion strikes her to kill a few of her horses who have somehow disappointed her, do I have this right?
