@Holly (Hollywood)
This is yet another fantastic build which features great games and all at the entry price of a (hopefully) discounted, 6-button Arcade1UP cabinet. There was a lot to digest with your video and although greatly appreciated, I have some recommendations and questions:
To make setup easier, please emphasize the button layout on your USB interface board; Start = 0 and then a "button pinout" that is (lower, left to right = 1, 2, 3) and (upper, left to right 4, 5, 6)...it took me multiple views for me to understand your button wiring.
(A past video and build featured you choosing upper left-to-right = 1, 2, 3 and lower left-to-right = 4, 5, 6 as your choice of buttons connected to the USB encoder)
When configuring the system (per your instruction), it is really confusing that the "weak punch" button functions properly. It only works as you say once you get to the 'Attract' mode of the video...Otherwise, people will not understand that the 'A' button (i.e. "weak punch" will not work properly until you enter 'Attract Mode.' Unless you are in ATTRACT mode, you will have to use the 'A' button which is the middle button on the lower row.
I was unable to connect to my Raspberry Pi via the terminal on my Mac, but it worked flawlessly on my Windows PC.
>I was able to get the Power Switch to work, but I don't (despite following the instructions with success) think the audio switch is working properly...upon further investigation, I might have mis-wired...might you be able to post a photo of your wiring (under the volume switch as well as the connection to the RPi)?!
Again, fantastic image and instruction...I/we could use a bit more clarification.
Regards,
Brent

we're getting a configuration override loaded on a few of the street fighter and final fight games and afterwards those games displays have all shifted right. Not sure why. All the other games look good

man this is great i appreciate every thing you guys done ... could you please do a tutorial on how to add artwork or title for specific game in attract mode .. thanks bro

Bro, some help please. several of the games don’t fit the screen properly... only fills like half the screen like it happened to you at the ten minute mark of your video here. “Hot key” + x doesn’t work and I can’t get into the game config menus. Last the volume still won’t work during regular play, but tests fine. As far as adding games: darkstalkers 2, street fighter vs final fight and capcom vs snk

holly, awesome video. any chance you would put together a Qbert, Qbert's cubes and Congo Bongo image. i want to do a nice cabinet dedicated to qbert with that unique diagonal controller. i dont mind paying you for it. thanks, Chris
