I remember in the opening at like 0:54, it showed Shisui's sharingan on the screen with crow feathers, symbolising it freeing Itachi, just as the song goes into the chorus. Such a magical moment, cos your like, Aw shit Itachi is BACK!

Daisuke, who wrote this song, had lost his "ZIPPEI" dog brother, who had traveled with him on a TV show, in a sudden accident not long before. They were very close.
The singer does not say much about the song, but I am sure it was written for ZIPPEI and his brothers.

"If I could see you again in my dreams..."

I believe this linked to many of Naruto's painful goodbyes, such as Obito and Rin.
