Just finished the show a few days ago, and I can say it's easily the best show I've ever seen. It does have some flaws here and there, but the positives far outnumber the negatives. The show is a testament to the true potential humanity has and what can be achieved in the near future.

I listen to this and I think of all of the things those brave souls venturing into space have achieved! Gagarin, Shepard, Leonov, Glenn, Armstrong, Lovell, Young, Sally Ride…they are all our heroes and the world is better because of their bravery.

Some details in this intro are impressive yet rally hidden, like the 2 tails on the moon: the one that go straight is ours and seems to run out offer the moon (like the real space rece did), the second one that go right otherwise increase after the moon, accelerating, representing the series and their one space race

Ronald D Moores best show, imo. That's high praise given he worked on season 4 to 7 of DS9 and was show runner on Battlestar Galactica and Outlander :)

Just started binging this show with my wife and we both love it. It is bittersweet seeing what the US space program could have been if politics and cheapness hadn't cut it off at the knees following Apollo 17...and how much more women and Blacks in America could have accomplished if there had been something to shove racism and sexism/misogyny out of the way.
