ROBLOX SONIC SPEED SIMULATOR

No hate to anyone who worked on the game, I assume Sega just wanted whatever would make the most money. I'm just one guy who hates simulators and this is just a running simulator with a Sonic skin.

Today I play Roblox Sonic Speed Simulator! An official Sonic/Sega collab with Roblox.

this games actually one of the better simulators for me personally, while most are just "PRESS BOOTON AND DEN GO SELL" this one personally feels more engaging

The game is agonizingly slow in the beginning, but once you get high enough level it actually becomes really fun. The game rewards momentum, so you can experiment with loops or spindashes to go even faster

the game is really good. The only bad thing is that for new players they gotta suffer 15 minutes of grinding nonstop to become fast, but after the 15 minutes you can like go super fast around loops and it becomes really fun

In my opinion, this becomes pretty fun once you grind for a little. It's only boring before lvl 25 on the first rebirth. After that, it becomes hella fun to run around with no actual goal in mind.
The sound effects, ui and most models/parts of the map feel like something you'd expect from a sonic game, and that makes it cooler. Also, the possibilities with spin dashing and homing attacks are plentiful, and using them is amazing once you get the hang of it.

My only complaints are that the homing attack feels underused and underpowered (its only useful for a quick burst of speed and for traveling across gaps, and the spin dash cancel does both better), the Lost World and Emerald Hills feel emptier than Green hills (I don't have snow valley and onwards, so I don't have a opinion on that yet) and the progression of pet/trail strength through worlds feels slow and not very worth it.
Also tails and sonic don't have special abilities that make them worth getting so thats also something

They did say they are working hard for a lot more skills and bosses, tracks and characters so that is a lot of fun, momentum physics are also really nice so overall it's decent, yeah the fan game is praised a lot for being so shockingly good with the Roblox Engine, but I must admit they did kinda knocked it out of the park for a simulator
