Visited Western Wall (Wailing Wall) , Jewish Holy Site in Jerusalem.
We began the tour from the magnificent Jaffa Gate in the Old city of Jerusalem. Walked through the beautiful, colorful market in the old city of Jerusalem.
And finally reached the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, that is the most holy site in the world for the Jewish people. The Western Wall is the remnant of the Jewish Temple.
According to the common Jewish belief the Divine Presence, never left the stones after
the Temple was destroyed.
It was an emotional experience, there were a lot of people praying. Women and children on one side and men on the other. I said my prayers by the wall and left a prayer in the crack of the wall.
Jerusalem is truly a magnificent city. When you visit the old city of Jerusalem it is like travelling back in time. Be ready to be mesmerized.
