Your Giving Trunhit too much credit, he hasn't planned all the coup out

Your giving Falk and Trunicht too much credit. Falk is just incompetent he thought his plan would succeed but it did not. Trunicht is not a great mastermind shaping events, he is a supreme opportunist, reacting to them. He was tipped off by Rubinsky about the coup and hid as a result. You can bet he what ever happens in the civil war Trunicht will take advantage of it but he had no part in instigating it.

Currently the coup faction has control over the capital world of Heinessen and has instigated revolts on 4 other planets.

Prior to the Aliance's invasion of the Empire the Alliance had 13 fleets. Now we only have confirmation of 3 surviving fleets. The Yang fleet stationed at Iserlohn, which is commanded by Yang who has refused to join the coup and declared his opposition to them. The 11th fleet Stationed at Heinessen commanded by Vice Admiral Legrange who is on the side of the coup and is being dispatched to face Yang. The only other known fleet is the 1st fleet, it is commanded by Yang's former commander Vice Admiral Paetta. It's location and allegiance is unknown however Paetta has not been seen with the coup and considering they have dispatched the 11th fleet to fight Yang and not both fleets I would say it's a safe assumption that he is not on their side. Although that doesn't mean he is on Yang's either.

Also when Yang was talking about catching each force on route he was talking about the forces that are taking part in the revolts on the four planets. That was what he had been ordered to put down before the coup was made public. The 11th fleet had not been despatched yet.
