Man, that episode was marvelous, I wasn't expecting that he actually had a power, but i was honestly blagerbasted when he did that, loving it!

Jokes aside, I loved this kind of plot twist with the message of the protagonist (it's up to him what choice he would make). The antagonist turns a reformed character when he returns to the real world by the time of the post-credits after the end of the episode. It shows the quality of repentance of a character, which is rarely shown in most isekai shows.

This is what makes the series so good. Is that these scenes are so satisfying when they happen whether it's emotional or just cathartic to watch happen. Not all the otherworlders are evil and are just doing their own thing but their encounters with sensei truly ends their story in that world

The more I see of this, the more I am convinced the author used "Zetsubou sensei" as his inspiration/reference for his "suicidal but not really" main character.
