Yes it is different from US Version. US version support e-sim and extra (5G MM wave) and HK version support dual physical sim and all functions like 5G but not (mm wave), FaceTime video/audio and wifi calling all are working. In chinese version it also support dual physical sim but not support wifi calling and FaceTime audio call.I always prefer HK version because it is factory unlocked and supports two physical sims. One of the best version

My T-Mobile did this to me today?! It took a couple hours to fix that mess. Esim is how 2 of my 13PM are setup. All good now.

I think it would have been beneficial to say that at the start of the video that only iPhones manufactured in China, Hong Kong and Macau can take 2 physical sims. It seems most other iPhones are 1 Nano sim and 1 eSim.

It's the Hong Kong version - in other country official may have 1 sim physical like on 12 iphone. Could you show how was improved caller for 2 sim cards? for example 2 buttons call for 2 sim and in list of phone numbers in history info from which sim card call was received?
