Starter Characters Only: 4.7 Spiral Abyss

This run took 1,729 resets before I had to stop. Unfortunately, I have to settle for a theoretical 9-star clear, as mentioned in the community post. I've never pushed myself this far for a video before, so I hope it doesn't cause burnout. Previously, the highest number of resets I needed was 548 for 4.2 Spiral Abyss, so 1,729 is an enormous increase.

Important Note

As mentioned in the community post, I unfortunately had to stop after 1, 727 resets to avoid burnout and focus on my M.S. thesis. Instead of showing a continuous 12-1 run, I'll present a theoretical 3-star clear by combining footage from 12-1-1 and 12-1-2, which together have a combined time of around 2 minutes and 56-57 seconds.

You are amazing, I myself needed 206 resets for 12-1 with my 5 stars. There is is so much RNG involved: if drakes get resistance before you kill them you might as well reset, if samachurl stuns you with his vines you might as well reset, if lector doesn't stagger and gets pushed to another fast enough you might as well reset, if they get separated during shield phase you, if serpent knight do random stuff etc... THIS IS INSANE CHAMBER. Congrats on clearing, even a theoretical clear is impressive

Absolutely insane. This might be the hardest Abyss we've gotten yet (I say that a lot don't I XD) and you're still managing to clear with the starter squad :O

I definitely think your videos are something everyone should consider watching for this Abyss, even if they don't do starter-only runs, just because of how helpful the tips are for dealing with enemy behavior

Learning how to group the enemies without a dedicated grouper (even then some might be too heavy) is definitely one of the biggest skill expression imo. One thing I always look for now is if the enemies have any mobility skill or not and plan the grouping accordingly.

Absolutely amazing!! Love your explanations for what you did! This really shows the importance of both positioning and some of the mechanics that don't get a lot of attention, such as the knockback provided by abilities like Kaeya's Burst. Not gonna lie, needing to consider stuff like that actually appeals to me personally because it's like a puzzle hehe it scratches my brain in all the right ways
