DIY customization| This is why you prepare crocs before customizing|I learnt the hard way

As an amateur customizer I try different things and see what works. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the glue…

But it turns out I was supposed to prepare the crocs BEFORE adding rhinestones - I only found out when it started coming off 😕

Posting this to show mistakes I made in case any of you want to customize crocs yourself. I would hate for you to make the same mistake!

Before applying accetone you're suppose to "sand" them. You can use a nail filer, small hand sander or a sanding block. Then accetone! You wont have anymore problems after that. Keep going, you're doing great!

I customize and sell these. You are missing one more important step. Acetone is right but you still want you stones to adhere to the surface. While acetone takes away the coating it doesn’t give it a rough surface.

Do u have to let the acetone dry 1st b4 applying stones?
