Finally! Americans deserve more time woth their family and more rest. This gov give so much money to illegal immigrants and Israel while grinding it citizens to work 80 hours a week!

It is Not "free money, " it is Fair pay for hard working Americans. Why not adopt it for a number of years to see both the pros and cons of reduced work hours? I expect there would be a Lot of Americans feeling better about their lives AND their work situation,

They want to make it a 4-Day work week but pay them as if they worked 40HR work week. OR, a typical shift would not exceed 6HRS., which actually would help prevent burnout. AND every hour after 32hrs. is overtime and after 40hrs. is double overtime pay. This is totally feasible with rotating schedules. So. There isnt really a schedule conflict. This debunks the lower pay/inflation arguement. And it improves quality of life. Nothing is more valuable than your time. Life is short. How many people spend their weekend only to return unrested because they had to catchup on errands on days off because they work 9 to 5. The answer is too may people. Large corporations and government will be able to accomodate, but per usual; small business may not be able to pay employees a 40HR. paycheck when the employee is working 32HR. They might need a tax break or other incentive.
