Being an isles fan I appreciate what Tavares did for us. Nine years of hard work was for nothing. But when you bring a head coach who just won a cup and a GM with a HOF resume and then saying I really want to resign with the islanders is bullshit. Thanks Tavares but we can take it from here

If you think the return of former Islanders captain John Travers was a big event well to me it was emotional because he put Islanders fans in the seats to excite all of us.
But now he's a Tornado Maple Leaf and he moved on.And tonight the Islanders stampede J.T. and the Leafs 6-1.I was just at the Coliseum to watch the whole thing on fold.
Now that the Isles are back in first place in Metropolitan Division they have beat Washington tomorrow night to stay alone in first. ROCK THE BARN LET'S GO ISLANDERS!!!!
