The book trimmer the man was using is actually really safe.
You have to hold two buttons on either side of the device before it can bring the blade down to cut it.. it's a safety feature.
I've actually used these cutters myself and I could do it all day long if they allowed it

7:26 i used to work in typography, and paper guillotine was always a satisfactory machine for me 🤤 as for hands: 1) you must push two buttons by two hands to make blade slice down; 2) there are lasers, witch stop the blade if anything stands on the way near the blade
