DJI Mavic Air - Beginner Tips!

As a new drone pilot, I found that DJI didn’t do an amazing job at on boarding and I was often confused about how to get the most out of my brand new drone. Hopefully this video will help new DJI drone pilots get their bearings and get better at flying, faster!

Mine doesn't have "Precisely record takeoff point". Is there something that I need to click to add this? Return to home lands within 10 ft. of the takeoff point. I'm a beginner and only flew it once but tomorrow is another day!

You can plan shots using Google Earth Pro, and flying around area of interest in 3D mode.

Is there a more compact drone than Mavic Air, either from DJI or other companies? Is there a more advanced version of this, which is equally compact and much superior in quality?

odd. i'm in a restricted zone according to the phone's screen (dji app) but i can take off just fine (near airports but in my yard).... very odd.

I've just uploaded some raw footage to my channel but in some parts the left side of the screen has black lines/artefacts. Anyone have any ideas what cause this kind of thing? I'm using D-Cinelike

Thankyou for the helpful tips. Hopefully, one day I can afford a Mavic Air. Though with regards to proper terminology, I should point out that you would use the gimbal to 'tilt' up and down rather than 'pan.' Remember that a pan is for horizontal rotational movements. Keep up the great work!
