Person rushed to the hospital after being struck by car in Fresno

A person using a walker was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after they were struck by a vehicle in Fresno. Officers say they sustained major injuries following the collision.

This is so ridiculous why can't people just drive safe we all know there are people everywhere walking riding bikes just slow down a bit . pedestrians being hit by cars seem to get worse and worse . In the bay area it's constantly happening.

This city is not designed with pedestrian safety in mind. Especially not handicapped and elderly pedestrians. If you need some milk and you don't drive, you're gambling with your life to get it.

every street can be made safer and every street can be made 21st century ready. All streets can be forked feet from red lights to warn cars to slow down and stop. We need forward thinking people to make every thing better.

I have issues with bicyclist and homeless the stupid bicyclist don’t stop at stop signs ride in the side walk and cross walks when their suppose to get off and walk across . Just yesterday an idiot on his bicycle on the sidewalk almost hit me so I almost threw him off but he made a stupid face and went around me. Bicycles are vehicles on the road. And then I’ve notice homeless and sometimes just stupid people who don’t look mentally or homeless throw themselves into traffic as if they are invincible. Pedestrians only have right of way in a cross walk no where else and a bicyclist is not a pedestrian unless they get off and walk the bike
