Hey guys welcome to a brand new video. Today we will be taking a look at 2 jets.

Honda claims to be Refining aerodynamic breakthroughs. The Honda Jet Elite inherited Honda Aircraft’s aeronautical breakthroughs, including the Over-The-Wing Engine Mount configuration, Natural Laminar Flow (NLF) fuselage nose and wing, and composite fuselage. In addition to these innovations, Honda Aircraft has further refined several aerodynamic technologies, enabling the aircraft to fly farther and with less noise pollution. Honda also has A commitment to bluer skies. The HondaJet Elite not only transports passengers to beautiful and remote locations around our planet, but it also protects those places for the next generation to visit. The HondaJet Elite is one with the Earth as it quickly yet efficiently climbs to the highest cruising altitude in its class, using less fuel and emitting less greenhouse gases than similarly sized twin engine business jets. Rated the highest in its class, the HondaJet Elite is designed to be significantly more fuel efficient than any other business jet in its class. It uses an average of 8,250 gallons fuel/year less than other aircraft in its category based on 275 flights per year with average mission of 600nm and can hold up to 6 passengers.

The Cirrus Vision SF50 (also known as the Vision Jet) is a single-engine very light jet designed and produced by Cirrus Aircraft of the state of Minnesota in the United States. The combination of the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System® (CAPS®) and Safe Return™ emergency autoland provides the ultimate level of safety and assurance - exclusively available in the Vision Jet. Designed around the largest cabin in its class, the carbon fiber fuselage creates spaciousness, with unexpected head and shoulder room and panoramic windows for an immersive experience. The Cirrus Vision Jet carries up to five adults and two children. But the remarkable achievement is that you can have this level of jet performance in a true personal aircraft that doesn’t require an entire flight operations department to fly and maintain.

Apples and oranges. I sincerely doubt buyers of Cirrus jets are looking at Honda Jet and conversely, Honda Jet buyers are not considering a Vision. I think the Cirrus is the logical step up from a turbo prop.

I own a vision g2 and honestly love it, I always own a falcon 8x and king air c90gtx but the cirrus just feels so nimble yet stable. Amazing plane all around

Both gorgeous machines but obviously not true competitors, unless you decided to buy 2 Cirrus' for the the price of a Honda.

Honda sounds like a winner till you get to price. I love flying the Vision in X-Plane. Visibility is a top priority for me.

I would find it hard to believe, if the Honda jet DID NOT need trim changes during power changes, and comparing a twin with a single seems odd.

Would rather get a TBM or Pilatus over a SF50. HondaJet is in a whole different league.

Both look great but the parachute on the vision is the game changer for me especially with the poor safety statistics of private jets. As these aren’t long range, won’t be missing the toilet that much either

For the sake of lower cost and not needing a multi engine cert I think I would go with the second generation Vision in this case.

Dear Marlin could you compare the M2 vs the Hondajet Elite? It should be more competitive

You should take speed into consideration for fuel economy because it seems the honda fuel use drops below the visionjet when they hit the same speed. Which is remarkable. Especially considering the honda is about double the weight. Which does however beg the question, why is it so heavy. But I guess it is longer. and has two engines.

Having flown many planes in many different circumstances, I will stick to CESSNA. You can’t go wrong with Cessna.
