Trustee is actually insanely good for ability uptime. Incandescent works with bray inheritance and it can increase uptime quick.

Some notes on each weapon that I do think are worth considering.

Heritage:
This is rolling Threat Detector in the first column which is god tier on a shotgun and worth chasing at least for PvP, it's like prenerf Quickdraw good since you should always be within 15m of an enemy when using a shotgun. (Threat Detector + Swashbuckler will be good in both PvE and PvP for that matter.)
Also don't know how great it'll be but there's a meme combo of Hipfire Grip/Offhand Strike that would probably be funny to play around with, might be surprisingly effective now that Slug Shotties get a proper reticle. (Maybe a funny PvP meme of Hipfire/Swash where you body shot+melee for the first kill and then you ape around one shotting people with 5x Swash stacks.)

Succession:
More of a PvP weapon honestly, definitely a case of if you already had a good one no need to get another but maybe Firmly Planted might be worth messing with since it's basically Opening Shot but active whenever you crouch. (Reconstruction/Snapshot is otherwise the roll probably.)
Reconstruction/Focused Fury will probably be neat in PvE due to the overflowed mag, but otherwise I'd probably just use something like Thoughtless or Defiance of Yasmin if I want a Kinetic Slot PvE sniper.

Trustee:
Has some really solid perks now that gave it the meat it was missing, you can go full ability gen with Pugilist/Wellspring (Plus Origin trait.), you have a neutral damage build with Reconstruction/Focused Fury which lets you get a damage boost rolling without needing a kill (Once again the overflowed mag will help make Focused Fury more consistent) and then you have things like Rapid Hit or Incandescent which will basically be good regardless of their pairing perk. (Both, both is good.)

Posterity:
If you can get over it being a 180 honestly I think this one is going to be a sleeper hit, it has some similar combos to Trustee but the main star of the show is going to be Voltshot/Frenzy which I think will carry it to end game since Frenzy is Damage+Reload on its own with no kill requirement and Voltshot might be stronger here since Hand Cannons have a high Combatant multiplier. (Also got a Voltshot/Rampage roll and I don't really like it much since Rampage ends up running out while you're reloading for Voltshot, so I'd stick with Frenzy.)

Commemoration:
Pretty much everything was said about this in the vid, only thing to add is that the Origin Trait seems to be way stronger on this weapon which if it's intentional makes me wonder if there's a place for using this for DPS strats where you throw more grenades at a boss for the bulk of DPS instead. (Probably more of a meme, but would be interesting so see someone try it out with like a FTTC/Firing Line roll.)

Bequest:
This thing is devious and a lot stronger than it looks, it actually has more impact than other Swords making it passively deal a nice chunk more damage than other swords (I think people have said it's like an extra +15% or something?) but was held back before by a lack of reliable damage perks. (Surrounded doesn't help for boss DPS very much.)
Now that it has Vorpal Weapon it finally has a way of dealing extra damage to bosses without needing a weird setup of any kind and you don't need to wait for stacks to build up like with Whirlwind Blade, so this may now be the best legendary sword in the game for boss DPS when it's allowed. (Would love if people could look into this more.)

Fluted>hammer forged for heritage most times you are close enough for the shotty to land or in boss phases where you use them you have lunas

Sleeping a little bit on the enhanced reconstruction and incandescent on the Trustee. 40 round mags of incandescent are amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

tireless chain reaction bequest is actually bonkers nuts, especially for arc ability builds. infinite ammo and pretty much all your ability energy refilled just from hitting an enemy in a group.

The LMG also utilizes the origin trait WAY better than all the other guns. It almost has wellspring (that doesn't need kills) as an extra perk with the amount of ability energy you can get out of it.

Posterity with Voltshot and Trustee with Incandescent are all people need from the raid.

I have the Voltshot Posterity w/ Frenzy and it's better than Datto thinks.

One thing to mention for succesion and heritage: demo. On kill it gives, according to d2gunsmith, 20% of grenade energy, enhanced grants 22%. So with succesion if you have another thing giving grenade energy, like devour, you pretty much don't need to reload, heritage even doesn't need some backup, cuz 6 ammo, and you need 5 of them to kill to regen full nade. Sth like HoIL or Starfire just straight up throws problem out of the window. Talking mostly about outside of boss dps, but can also be used against bosses.

Recombination has always been the best perk for succession imo, its burst dps blows all other perks out of the water. In addition, snipers are a secondary dps option, meaning you're not likely to get many shots off with it in a dps phase. Last I checked it takes like 7+ shots (all crits with vorpal) to match recomb dps so seriously think about the last time you used a sniper for that long in any instance.

I’ve done 120 dsc full raids this week. My findings are that you have about a 7-5% drop rate. If you’re not a serious farmer willing to dedicate the time don’t waste your time just buy a red border a week!

Whoa don't sleep on succession as a PvP sniper it's stupid good in PvP. I use my reconstruction+ snapshot roll and love it.
On heritage I want one with reconstruction + focused fury. I also want one for PvP so that is one I will grind for.

"who's running a melee build with a scout?"
*slowly looks at Hunter's current gear setup*

I swear, snipers in pve are just a small buff or crazy perk away from being solid.
A 5-10% damage buff would do wonders for them. And maybe make Box Breathing actually worth using again.

Gota love when youtubers say “the 15 minutes doubles slugs were meta” when most raids in the game have bosses double slug is still optimal on

I used to love using commemoration with reconstruction dragonfly for ad clear or while using Divinity really sad not seeing it on the new version

The only weapon that I'm interested is the scout since is the only solar rapid fire and MAYBE Commemoration because of Repulsor Brace for void hunter, the rest already had great rolls before so I'm keeping those

I got really lucky I got both succession and heritage crafted in only a few hours. I got my first clear yesterday and started farming Atraks today.

Never really ran this raid before. Got a reconstruction/repulsor brace machine gun that's great on my void hunter. Won't grind for any patterns though...drop rate sees to that!
