I will suggest plant the rose at button of the porch in the ground. Then wait the, rose climbing to the arch. This way the rose won't have the outgrown problem in the pots❤

I remember passing by some archways in my neighbourhood that were built and the vines planted at the bottom. That was years ago and i remembered thinking how much i wanted to fast forward the years to see the vines covering the archways. I forgot about it until this year when i happened to pass by it. It was simply beautiful. I cant wait for yours to shine.

My mom has had one of these types of roses in the corner of the house for yearsss. It's such a sturdy little rose that it just grows straight up like 7 ft and then decides to bloom 😅. I'm going to give it a proper home now!

May I ask how you will protect your potted roses during the winter months? I live in NE Mississippi so we rarely have “harsh” winters but it still gets cold enough to freeze the plants in planters.
